Derby City’s Turkey Track to debut at 2011 NWTF Convention
The Turkey Track, Derby City’s newest call, is a true turkey hunter’s call. The pot was designed with a turkey track on the bottom of the call to appeal to hunters and collectors alike. Simply put, this is a beautiful looking call that is all turkey when it comes to looks and sound. From soft clucks and yelps to enticing purrs and excited cutting, this call replicates the same great turkey sounds that hunters have come to expect from Derby City. Read more
ATA Trade Show Trip for DCC
Derby City Calls had a booth in the innovations zone for this year’s ATA show. The trade show is an order writing event and is geared more to Archery, however, we had many people interested in checking out our high quality turkey calls. Derby City signed up 6 dealers who will carry our calls this spring. These dealers ranged from the deep South, up into the midwestern United States. We hope to have a dealer page set up for our visitors soon. This would allow you to drop in and check out what they have to offer if they are located close to you. Read more

Dave Johnson is an avid turkey hunter. His grandpa got him started hunting turkeys in 1992. Dave was fortunate to take his first bird in 1995 and he has been obsessed ever since. He also enjoys hunting whitetail deer and all types of waterfowl. However, turkey hunting is by far his favorite. Read more

Everyone here at Derby City knows that the secret to building a great sounding call is to start wtih instrument-grade hardwoods and old growth maple. Tony Wray, master luthier at First Quality Music also works with us here at Derby City. Tony is a professional musician and plays regularly on the Grand Ole Opry. Tedd Moffett to call for Derby City Calls

Derby City is pleased to announce that Tedd Moffett has joined Derby City Calls as it newest Pro Staffer. Tedd will compete in calling contests using Derby City’s line of friction calls. We look forward to having Tedd on our Pro Staff and look for him to do extremely well when he competes in Ohio on January 22nd.
